Switching Things Up

  1. Leila’s fabric is beautiful.
I keep saving Sherri’s BOM blocks but haven’t made one yet. I do use some of her patterns in other quilts when I’m not happy with a block that’s been chosen. I really liked her log cabin sampler last year and will probably make that one.

    1. I loved her log cabin sampler from the previous year too. In fact, I took her idea and ran with it, making a quilt for Eva’s eighth-grade graduation with center blocks related to her school life: flip-flops, an American flag, baking bowls, etc. It was so much fun to make.

  2. The fabric change makes a big difference. And, if you’re happier with the red, white & blue fabric, that’s what matters! Have a great time sewing to your heart’s content!
