  1. I think all of your blocks are just perfect! I like the adapted flying goose block, I can’t say that I’ve noticed that one before. I love sampler blocks. I hope you are very productive in the next few days. 🌻🌻🌻

  2. I like the red borders on the inner side on the second block. They look ‘natural’ in that position. Reading rather than sewing…not a shocker! 😉 Have a good week & safe travels for Dennis.

  3. All of your blocks are lovely and they go so well together. Looking forward to seeing the progress you make this week!

  4. man, I wish my modified flying geese looked as precise as yours! I decided not to re-do my blocks in brighter colors. I’m not interested enough to start over. ;p

have fun on your own this week…..remember, take-out for dinner is just fine. tomato and cheddar cheese on toasted fresh french bread is also a great easy dinner.

  5. Looking good and I really love the block on the lower left. How cute is that?! You’ll be much happier with the finished quilt since you changed fabrics and some fabric placements!
It’s going to be HOT here this week and that will be no fun.

    Hugs!

  6. Hi Nicole~!
I was wondering, when you starch your fabrics for a quilt top, do you also starch the backing fabric? Asking because I just completed a top using starched fabric for the first time and I’m a bit concerned if the backing isn’t starched that shrinking won’t be similar when the quilt is washed.
Thanks for any advice on this.
