My outer border fabric for the Halloween Figs quilt has arrived, but it will be a few days before I can focus on cutting and attaching it. I am pleased with the look and think it will be a great finishing touch to the quilt.
Honestly, I have been distracted by getting ready for my Ladies’ Weekend up in Washington State. I leave tomorrow morning and will be back on Sunday. It will be four days of enjoying the company of nieces and cousins whom I haven’t seen in way too long.
I won’t post again until Monday, but will take lots of pictures of our activities to share with you all when I get back. I haven’t had a getaway for some time, so this will be such fun for me.

What lovely fabric! Have a great time on your getaway. I’m heading off today for a quilting retreat, so we are all going to have a fun weekend!
Have a wonderful time. I have not had a ladies getaway with my daughter since her daughters were born. I real miss getting away with her. The fabric is beautiful.
Have a wonderful time!
Oh so pretty – reminds me of Jacobean type embroidery. Some bits look like the decals on vintage Singer machines!
