  1. Pam’s Irish chain setting really works great! I think it adds to it and balances it out nicely 😻

  2. I think the Irish chain setting is perfect, it allows the blocks to shine. It is great news about Eva time, the two of you will enjoy your time together.

  3. Love the chain setting. Thanks to the kind lady for letting you share her setting. It has inspired me to go through my ufos. One has 70 plus blocks made out of a hundred. Another has at least 50 blocks finished. I had been debating donating them to a group who finish
    Quilts for donation.

  4. That was generous of Pam to allow you to share her layout. It does allow the blocks to shine! You & Eva will be baking up a storm this summer! Can’t wait to see what you two come up with! 🍪🍰

  5. I like the chain setting too. It’s a nice variation from the more sashing around a square block.

  6. Oh, that is a really nice Irish chain setting. I love those strong diagonal designs that it creates. Eva will no doubt have fun teaching; and what a great full-circle moment for her!

  7. I love the bright colors you’ve chosen for these blocks. they really are cheerful. it’s warm here. blah.

  8. The Irish chain is a perfect setting for the beautiful quilt blocks. As they say, sometimes less is more. Enjoy every minute with Eva!

  9. Great choice for the Irish chain setting for those blocks. I did something similar for a sew along I did. Enjoy your time with Eva!

  10. I so wish I had seen her setting before I did my boring assigned one, It is so much more attractive. Oh well, next time.

  11. Definitely the chain setting. Nicely done Pam and thanks for allowing Nicole to share it with us. All coming on nicely Nicole. Congratulations Eva and now the fun summer begins.
