  1. I hope you have that photo of Eva framed & out all year round! It sounds like you had a lovely 4th! Your flag quilt is one of my favorites! We’re just back from our nephew’s Alaskan cruise wedding. I boosted the quilt shops’ sales in Juneau & Skagway…enough that they’re shipping my purchases! 😉

    1. Hi Jan — most likely I hit up the same quilt stores in Juneau & Skagway about 10 years ago on my Alaska cruise!

      1. The Shippers is on my Kindle, but I didn’t even start it! Hah! It was so much fun and then some!! Those cruises keep you way too busy!! 🙃

  2. I’ve seen a lot of red, white and blue quilts this year, but I think I like yours best . It is beautiful!

  3. A belated happy 4th of July to you and your family too! I’m glad you had such a good time with family, and fun memories of past celebrations.

    1. Thanks Sally. It was a quiet celebration for us, but we could hear all sorts of festivities nearby until quite late. Our neighbor’s kids had sparklers and little fountain type fireworks in their driveway. It brought back memories!

  4. That striped flag quilt looks so sharp on your deck! …and what a feast for the holiday! We had chicken and potato salad and watermelon and birthday cake for my great-nephew, who is a little firecracker in his own right!
