I finally got up the nerve to send another quilt or two off to my quilter in Utah. Still leary about mailing things to the quilter in Florida. I packed up Pumpkin Gatherings made with Primitive Gatherings fabrics last year and decided to mail it off.
As one very wise reader pointed out to me, lightning is unlikely to strike twice. I figured the odds are with me that I won’t ever have a quilt go missing in the mail ever again.

I am also sending off this cute table topper that was the Fat Quarter Shop’s free Halloween sew-along last year. The pattern is still free on their website.
Say a little prayer for me…

I trust UPS much more than USPS and FedEx is absolutely the worst! My mail lady is awful. Packages that should be signed for are put in mailboxes along the road. Gold, platinum and silver coins as well as jewelry and expensive electronics at risk.
I mailed several quilts using UPS with no issues but never saythat a quilt is in the package. I say blanket or textiles. Don’t know if that makes a difference or I have just been lucky. I hope your package is safe both ways. So heartbreaking to lose your top after all that work and $ too.
