Antiquing

img_0650.jpg

I have joined the ranks of treasure hunters.  Due to recent inspirational visits to some of my favorite blogs (Romantic Home and Daisy Cottage in particular), I have started to visit antique stores and thrift shops when I come upon them.  At a recent stop at a large antique mall in Salinas, CA, I discovered this pretty pink Italian plate.  Notice the interesting cut out design?  I’m not sure how practical a plate with holes might be, but it is sweet placed next to my fresh farmer’s market freesias and cheeky china chicks (say that fast three times).

(Note:  I am on vacation until April 5, and will not be able to respond to your comments until then).
