  1. Thank you Nicole! My son was home this past weekend and I cooked his favorites, shrimp orzo, lemon chicken, and your latest chicken bites mushrooms and wine sauce.
I am a small town older person and had
Never heard of orzo, the type of mushrooms you used and all the cheeses
But was able to find them. We haven’t skipped the shrimp a single visit! Thank you for broadening my menus!

  2. Enjoy your time with Eva and summer! Don’t worry about posting – just have fun! 🥰

  3. BY all means, focus on your time with Eva! You are so fortunate to have her near you and it’s obvious from your postings that the two of you really enjoy your time together.
Looking forward to whatever changes your schedule includes – and more new recipes!

  4. Have a great summer full of time with Eva! Post what & when you feel like sharing & we’ll all be right here when school starts again! ☀️

  5. Have a summer that is stress-free (as far as trying to post almost every day) and enjoy your time with Eva in every capacity.

I tried out a mexican corn salad this weekend too, but it included black beans and cherry tomatoes. Also very good!

  6. Yum! That salad looks yummy. What did you have with it?
How delightful to look forward to spending days with Eva! How did she grow into a charming young lady when not so long ago she was a charming toddler?
Me-time is good for you, so enjoy your time away from the computer!

    Hugs!

  7. I enjoy every post you make but spending time with your granddaughter should definitely be your first priority. Have a fun summer and we’ll all be here in the fall

  8. Oh, and some of us (me, DH, and our younger son) have the gene that really makes cilantro taste like soapy water. No kidding. Our older son and DIL love cilantro.

Now you know for some folks, cilantro tastes awful and isn’t merely a dislike!

    Hugs!

  9. Funny I just tried an almost identical recipe and already bought more corn to make it again! Summers are tough for posting but I’m sure you’ll have fun things to post that you and Eva do! It’s tough entertaining a teen! Have fun

  10. Nicole, Thank you so much for giving me the recipe for the shrimp orzo salad. I will try it. I enjoy your quilting posts and the recipes you suggest are an added bonus!!! Happy Summer!!l
