No sewing yesterday. The high point of the day was that Archie got a new dog bed. We fluffed it up, plopped it on the kitchen floor and waited for his reaction. There he is in the photo above, checking it out. He's thinking about it….
And then he lost his mind.
I think he likes it.

Hi, Nicole-Oh, I would definitely give up a little sewing time to see this kind of joy! How sweet is that little Archie? My sewing buddy is my cat, Ruthie, who such a snob about where she puts herself, but she’s our little girl and we love her. She often thinks she is way more help in the sewing room that she is, but because of her demeanor, we let her think so. You know kitties with that ‘famous’ superior attitude….gotta love it! But she has her moments when she’s the most wonderful pet on earth! Thanks for sharing and have a great day!

There’s a lot of hype about those beds. I caved and bought one for our senior Doxie. It is worth every penny. She loves to cuddle into that bed and spends a lot of time there. Hope Archie enjoys his as much.

A friend showed us a small handheld blacklight she purchased from Amazon. She carries it when shopping for background fabric as it is outstanding for seeing pattern on light tone on tone fabrics. Now and then I have one of those that I really need to watch for!

I’d say the new bed was a complete hit with Archie! I almost felt that way when we bought a new mattress last year…😂
