Crop Circles Blocks Are Done!

Woo Hoo!  Happy dance going on here.  I finished 31 Crop Circles blocks.  Love every single one of them, and only need 30, so one will have to go on the back I guess.  Aren't they cute?  Love that Gardenvale fabric by Jen Kingwell.  I think it worked out so well for this pattern.

Next up is sewing the rows together and then making a border of wedges.

Check out Sinta at Pinkpincushion and see how she is faring.  A little bird told me she is making wonderful progression her blocks.

Did you all have a marvelous Memorial Weekend?  I sure did.  Some sewing time, some family time, some shopping time–it doesn't get much better than that!

Busy week.  Will try to post tomorrow, but if I don't–see you Thursday!

  1. Standing ovation, Nicole!! Didn’t I tell you that you’d speed thru this complicated pattern just a tad more slowly than usual? Yep! Well done!
What’s next on your sewing list?
DH is still dealing with that annoying respiratory flu that’s going around so our weekend was quiet except for his coughing. I got some gardening, sewing, and reading done in addition to tending to miserable DH.
    Hugs!

  2. Bing, bang, done. Thanks for the close-up look. Like some of these more modern patterns but didn’t have a clue where to start. Thanks for letting us follow along. Love that Gardenvale fabric and Jen’s busy quilts that are so gorgeous.

  3. Love your circles they’re great! It’ll be hard to choose which one shpuld go to the back.
It was a holiday here in Bavaria, too, but I came down with a cold (isn’t it always when there’re finally some free days?) so no sewing did happen. But I’m nearly halfway done will send you a picture soon.

  4. I am awestruck! So beautiful and I’m amazed at how quickly you’ve done this…did you sleep and eat?? Congratulations!!!!
