  7. So sad to see this here and on Instagram. He would crack me up with all his antics and sweet looks. It’s so hard to lose a pet, especially when they have been around so long. I was devastated when my cat passed after almost 18 years, hang in there.

  10. I am so sorry. It is really hard to lose a 4-legged family member. I still haven’t adopted any new pets since our dogs passed and it’s been years.

  12. The minute I saw just his name of the title I knew. I’m so very very sorry. I never met him in person, but I loved him just the same.
    Since I truly believe that dogs go to heaven, they should be watching out for their shoes right about now.
    He will indeed be missed.

  16. Ozzie was such a character…I guess most dogs are? The iron cords. Favorite shoes. Hogging your favorite chair to read in as if it was his throne. That good boy is going to be missed.

  18. I’m so sorry to hear of Ozzie. I remember when she was a little pup and chewed your iron that was plugged in to pieces! I couldn’t believe it and how you all survived that I will never know! You had some good giggles together. She will be missed for sure.

  21. Nicole, I am so very sorry to hear about Ozzie. I remember all the shoes and assorted stuff he loved chewing on in his young days. My current dog has made me think of Ozzie for the last couple of years. The chewing. Yikes. I’m glad Ozzie found a home with good folks and had a great life but so sorry for the hurt of his loss. RIP sweet Ozzie. Hugs to your people that will always love you.
