Cutting

The Fatquarter Challenge is on!  I couldn’t wait to get started with all the cutting that is required for my Celebrate Spring quilt.  Normally, cutting is a zen like activity for me, one that I actually enjoy.  This project is no exception, and I found much satisfaction in tossing the trimmings into my waste basket and seeing the neat little piles of geometric shapes stack up on my cutting mat.  So, here we go…

Aren’t you just dying to know what I have planned!!!  Bet you will never guess.  More clues next Monday!

Be sure to check out Darlene and Dawn‘s blogs to see what they are up to with this Fatquarter Challenge!

  1. oooo – I love those piles! Mine is turning out wonderful! I’m really happy with the results – but mine is not a full size quilt, so don’t panic that I got it that far!

  2. The final reveal will be on May 31. If Darlene and Dawn finish first (and they probably will!), they still have to wait until the 31st, when we will all post together.

  3. That is a long time to wait to see what you are going to make with these pretty fabrics ohhhhh!!!!!
