Two Fabulous Quilts Back from the Quilter

Oh my gosh, can I tell you how much I love this quilt? I just unpacked it and spread it out on the floor to take a picture. I've been calling it the Love quilt (for obvious reasons). It is one of two quilts I made out of the Moda Blockheads 3 experience. I am so happy with the way it turned out. The quilter recommended using the Orange Peel design for the quilting pattern, and I think it is perfect.

See what I mean? Now that I see it, I cannot imagine anything else. She did it nice and dense too, which I prefer.

And this one? Be still, my heart. How much do I love this little Cabin in the Trees runner? Sooooo much. The pattern is actually called Base Camp (by Sweetwater) and is for a full-sized quilt, but I have enough of those and can always use a new runner, so that is what I did. Oh my goodness. This is so darn cute. The quilter chose a simple cross-hatch design, and again, she nailed it.

Dennis and I are off to the Bay Area next week for his infusions, so I will try to come up with some quilty content this weekend and do some posts ahead for when I am away. I've been on a bit of a spending spree and will share some of the things I've picked up.

Have an outstanding weekend!

I hear you on having enough bed quilts and that’s why I often make wall quilts (seasonal, holiday, and just cuz), baby quilts, and donation quilts.
