We are big Halloween enthusiasts at our house, and over the years have collected a lot of decorations. I have reached a point, now that my kids and grandchild are grown, that I am leaving out some of the more childish decor items. But I have to say, I am still in the game. I just love this time of year.
The first photo is a close-up of my hearth and is probably my favorite vignette. Here is a photo of the fireplace area in its entirety.

The crows are back by popular demand. Since I had so much going on below the mantel, I kept things simpler up top.

This little table is next to the chair where I like to sit in the living room. The Halloween Santa is a collectible that I inherited from my mother. There was quite a bidding war for it amongst my sisters and me, but I pulled the long straw. Or is it the short straw? Anyway, he came home with me. I have also been dabbling in flower arranging and filled this little pumpkin with chrysanthemums, leaves, and berries. Oh, and the little table topper is a Little Bites pattern called Tidbit, designed by Carrie Nelson.

This is my Halloween coffee table. The candles are Luminara flameless candles, new this year. The table topper is by Carried Away and is called Buffalo Check. The pattern includes a Christmas version, which I must make.

Moving into the dining room, you can see another of my floral arranging attempts. I think next time I will go fuller and perhaps just a bit taller. The table topper is one of the free Fatquarter Shop sew along patterns, and is available on their website. It is called Bats and Boos. Super fun to make and I love it.

Here is a close-up of my dining room buffet. The quilt is pretty much covered, folded to fit the marble top, and obscured with decorations. The pattern is absolutely adorable, but it’s from a magazine from years ago, so I can’t link it. The blocks are great big candy corns, and of course the prairie point edging is just perfection.

Lastly, this is my Stacy Iest Hsu Spooks and Spells quilt, which I recently got back from the quilter. I tossed this one on the sofa in our front room/library where I can enjoy it every time I walk by. FYI, she has a line of Christmas fabric this year and recolored the pattern using the reds and greens, and it is adorable too. She called it Peace and Joy. Do check it out! That one may be in my future. Her panels are so darn appealing, and the borders that surround the blocks are easier than they look.
Hope you enjoyed my little Halloween tour! Have you brought out anything yet for the spooky season?

I’m in the process of doing the same thing.
This put me in the best mood….not just because my crows are out. I love fall! you inspired me to get one of my Halloween quilts off the chair and hang it in the living room.
