Still Here…

Hi there.  Sorry so many days went by without a peep from me.  I have been completely sidetracked by working some extra hours and cleaning my house from top to bottom.  Today I washed windows and have a lot more respect for the professionals.  Something about fall makes me want everything to be spic and span and cozy.  Clean floors, fresh linens, and the smell of something yummy in the crock pot.

Unfortunately, our 90 degree weather has returned, so my mood has been slightly disturbed.

I'll share this silly photo with you, that I just took.  I had been vacuming the carpets in my bedroom, where Ozzie's dog bed is kept.  I tossed his dog bed up on my bed to vacume the floors and didn't get around to putting it back in its corner.  I went into the bedroom to snap a picture of my scrappy bear paw quilt, and found him like this:

  1. Awwwwwww… I suppose Ozzie thinks home is where his bed is! Isn’t he just too cute?!
Love your little Autumn Bear Paw. Mine still needs to be quilted but it’s on hold while I finish things for others.
You’d be welcome to come clean my house if you don’t mind the cross-continent commute! Oh, to have that energy.
    Hugs!

  2. I like your bear paw quilt which looks especially nice with Ozzie in the photo! As I’ve said before…any day with an Ozzie post is a good day! Who could resist that face???

  3. Very cute, they do make you laugh. My 6 year old Labradoodle and 13 month old granddaughter spend their time pulling each end of a sock until the baby squeals and the dog say ok you can have it!
