Jacob’s Ladder “Frosted”

I am so excited to share these photos with you all!  My quilter, Mary of Quilt Hollow, sent me these pictures from her iPad.  I haven't even received the quilts back in the mail yet, but I just had to post them on the blog.  Get a load of that quilting!  The quilting design is called Roses n Curls.  The pattern you may recognize:  it is my Jacob's Ladder quilt from a few months back.  This is going to look amazing on my bed this summer.  Once I get it I will take some more pics in my master bedroom.

Mary always refers to her quilting as "frosting", which I think is so cute.  This photo shows the quilting closer up.

The last photo she took really shows off that pretty quilting design.  I do love an edge to edge quilting design on a busy quilt top.  Thanks Mary!

  1. Applause for Mary’s stellar “frosting” of your glorious quilt! It is exciting to see a quilt top suddenly become a quilt because it’s been quilted, isn’t it?!!
I like that pantograph pattern a lot, too.
    Hope it’s cooled off there.
    Hugs!

  2. It really makes the blocks move adding the circular design. very pretty finish to a very pretty quilt! Looks great!
