  1. If there was a heart and a flower, then the house block makes sense. I wondered why a house with the other style of blocks.

    1. Yes, I made the house because it was so adorable, but it may not fit in with the aesthetic of the quilt in the end. I will have to see as things move along.

  2. This is going to be lovely. It looks patriotic to me so a perfect quilt for this summer’s celebration of the 250th anniversary of signing the Declaration of Independence. Beautiful! 🇺🇸

    1. It is a step up from the typical patriotic quilt, isn’t it? I probably would mainly use it in the summer because of the color scheme. I sure do love working with those particular colors!

  3. I’ve been pressing seams open on blocks in general for the past few years. They just look flatter/nicer to me. Your fabric choices for this sew along are stunning!
