This is the Cali and Co block of the month #6. It is so colorful and fun, I have to say. This quilt sure does use a lot of half square triangles! This is a sew along Corey Yoder of Coriander Quilts is doing. Of course it isn't too late to join in, and the patterns are completely free. Corey also has YouTube video tutorials, so you really can't go wrong.

These are the six blocks I've made since the sew-along began. These fabrics are such a joy to work with. They are a combination of a couple of Corey Yoder's collections, as well as one or two of Sheri and Chelsi's leftovers from the quilt I made for Eva for eighth-grade graduation. Those colors are so joyful. Each block uses half square triangles and/or 2 1/2 inch squares.

This is a mystery quilt, and each month we are instructed to trim off these units after attaching the large print corner squares. What in the world will we do with them at the end? I have accumulated quite a pile of them.

As you see, I am amassing quite a collection of these units. Will they be used in a border? Guess I need to wait and see.
If you are drawn to bright cheerful colors, this is a great quilt to make.

Your choice of fabrics is always a winner. I can’t figure this project out either, but I’m sure it’ll be stunning!
Those are colors that I like to use! My friend calls them ‘Florida colors’ which makes sense…except that we’re in Wyoming! Your blocks are really cute & it’s going to be such a cheerful quilt!
I didn’t realize for a few months that the blocks were all different. This is really going to be a cute quilt and I’m tempted to start it. I might need some more fabrics to do this… I have a credit at FQS…
What gorgeous blocks! Those colors are just perfect for this project, and your work is incredible!
Fun watching such happy colors coming together. Your blog is my first morning read. You are inspiring!
Such great color combination and blocks! Can’t wait to see it done!
I like your colors! Just finished printing block 6 and I am ready to begin my blocks. I am going to use various, left-over pieces of Kim Diehl fabric. This year I am trying to use my stash and I HAVE a large stash….as most of us do!!
Enjoy reading your blog and seeing what you are working on at the time.
