I'm vacationing in Ireland right now, and I can promise you I am not thinking about sewing.

However, before I left, I put together a few quilty posts for you all. Two days before we left I actually got the last two blocks done for the Mercantile sew-along. I plan to trim the blocks down and sew them together when I get home. I need to order a smidgeon more background fabric for my setting triangles. I do not think this will take long to put together.

My husband was worried about me the past couple of weeks when I spent all my time obsessing over my travel wardrobe. "Why aren't you sewing?" he would ask almost daily. Just taking a little break. I promise I will get back to it when we return from our trip.

This super simple block is the Playground block. I do not find it very exciting, but it was a fast one to make.

This one is Thrifty. I quite like it and could see using it in other projects.

That's Mercantile, all 25 blocks!
