Happy Fourth of July everyone! I hope you are able to be with family, eat delicious food and see pretty fireworks after dark. I have to work today, but plan to go hang out with Grandpa afterwards and have dinner with him. My husband thought it was crazy to drive up from Monterey (where he works) and then turn around and go back 200 miles, so he won't be with us. There oughta be a law against the 4th of July falling in the middle of the week!
As you see, I got the binding on my Doc Schnibble, and it is gracing my kitchen table. So glad I made this one!

Well, that settles it. I am making Doc.
Have a great 4th of July, and greet Grandpa for me. We are going to my sister’s for lunch, inside in the air conditioning, and then, when the temps soar over 100, we are coming home and will watch A Capitol 4th on TV tonight!

Sorry you cannot go to see hubby and visit lovely Monterey. I know Grandpa will appreciate your visit.
Our family will also be watching the musical “1776” as we have on the 4th for decades. We can quote great stretches of the dialog and sing along by now!

White binding on the table topper? I LOVE it! I have never considered using white for binding, but it totally works and makes the design and colors really stand out! I have to remember this!

Nicole, it’s better hubby didn’t hit the road. Too many people drinking and driving on this holiday. I stay home because of that. It’s almost as bad as New Year’s. ;p
