Palm Desert, California, is where I spent the past week. The photos I posted were all taken at the Living Desert Zoo and Botanical Garden. Thanks to all of you who played along and guessed where I was.
Barbara L. was the first person to guess correctly. She and I have been in touch and I will be sending this little prize off to her today.

I’m glad you and Grandpa had such a delightful time there but I’ve never heard of the place. It looks like a wonderful place for its residents to live.
Lucky Barbara L! The fabric charm squares are delicious and the book looks very interesting. Will you be sending Mr. Darcy (Colin Firth!!) along with the pattern? Wouldn’t that be sweet? Oh, of course I suppose you’d keep the pattern if it meant sending Colin away!!

I’m with Barbara Anne – are you going to be sending Mr. Darcy along with the pattern? LOL. I’ll take either Colin Firth, or the 2005 Mr. Darcy who was played by Matthew MacFadyen! Either one is fine, thanks.

I was going to guess that, Nicole, but the last time I was there (many years ago), I don’t think they had a zoo!! How much fun you must have had!! Congratulations to Barbara for the correct guess!

I just love Palm Desert! I have yet to go to the Living Desert but hope to on our next visit. It’s very cold and snowy where I live – the thought of warm sun feels so far away!
