It sure would be nice to be able to actually use this gas grill.

I am telling you, Friends, it is wet where I live.  Well, at least the grass is green.

If it ever stops raining, I will replant those clay pots with summer annuals.

Good sewing weather though.  And I have some wonderful pattern and fabric recommendations for you.

Carrie Nelson, of Miss Rosie's Quilt Company, has six new Schnibbles patterns out!  Each one is cuter than the next, and I know you will want all of them.  What is so fun, is that she tends to use new and upcoming fabric collections in her new Schnibbles patterns, so you can get an idea of what you might do with those fabrics you have on your wish list.

It is never too soon to be thinking ahead to Christmas.  There are two new collections coming out that are definitely on my Must Have list.  Grace by 3 Sisters and Fa la la la la by French General.  The new FG group really has that Pierre Deux look I love.

So get some Schnibbles patterns and some of the latest charm packs or layer cakes (my preference) and make yourself some table toppers for the holidays.  They update your own holiday look, and they make outstanding gifts.

Hope you all had a great weekend.  Happy Spring.  If only the sun would come out and the rain would stop.

  3. Oh, it’s raining buckets here too. I couldn’t fall asleep it was so loud with all the thunder. Woke both the girls up too!! I just ordered all those Schnibbles!! Love them all!! I can’t wait for that fabric to come into the shop too!!

  4. How delicious the fabrics and patterns are!! I agree with Wendy, I’m not buying fabric either until I’ve used up A LOT of my lovely and gently aging stash.
Over the weekend I moved many of my quilting books to a different bookcase and saw many, many bookmarks in those books marking quilts I love. I will go there before buying patterns or new books. I think I can, I think I can! 🙂
    Hugs!
