Ah, that's more like it. I spent half a day re-doing my Christmas decorations and feel like the place is coming together at last. The picture above is my living room mantel re-done. I love it. So much more Me. The picture below was my first effort.
Now, that was just pitiful. What was I thinking? Scale back on decorations this year? I don't think so.

Ai caramba. Santa Claus would not have even known it was Christmas at our house. He would have flown right over the house without stopping.
Had to share this picture with you all. How lucky am I? Seriously. It does not get better than this. Husband and son decorating the tree. I can just hear you all, saying "Awwwww".

It’s looking a lot more like Christmas! Very festive. It also helps me personally as I love this time of the year when I decorate. It’s like old friends that I get to visit with again.

I love the mantels so much more with the abundant decorations as opposed to the starker look! And it makes me miss my big house so much! I used to be able to decorate like that, but no longer can as we now have a smaller place. But I still do what I can. Thanks for sharing. It’s beautiful!

Gorgeous! I love what you (re)did. My sweetheart usually decorates most of the tree but his work schedule has been crazy so I did it this year. Actually, it’s not done yet – we bought a new tree and I ran out of ornaments before I ran out of tree!

Hahaha, I spent one whole evening redoing the dining room window…. one style of garland up, take it down, try another style, up and down, finally, I am like you, the more elaborate one was perfect!
