Beach Cottage It Is

That was so much fun!  Thank you all so much for your input on which quilt I should tackle next.  I was just so undecided, I needed help!

The final totals were actually pretty close between all five projects, so I don't feel too bad not being able to decide all by myself.

Mocha Trails was the early leader, and Ridiculously Cute Baskets came on strong at the end.  But over all, Beach Cottage got the most votes, winning out by 4 votes.   So there we are.

A shot of Spring is on its way!

  1. All the choices were yummy, a bad outcome was impossible!
I’ll be eager to see Beach Cottage come to life.
Remember, you said you would work on the winner until it was done!!

  2. I can see where that was a really hard decision, Nicole! Love your first choice – April Cornell does have a way with gorgeus prints and colors! Can’t wait to see your finish!!
    Cheers!

  3. I didn’t have time to vote.. or at least i was going to and then got distracted lol.. but that’s my favorite too. I love April Cornell designs..
Have a wonderful time stitching away!

  4. While I voted for Mocha Trails, I cannot wait to see how this pretty, springy quilt will turn out. I have a similar set of colors – perhaps I should pull them out and make something along with you!! It does put one in the mood for spring. After the most snow for all time here in Ohio in the month of February, I am definitely ready for spring.

  5. I’m looking forward to seeing it finished – love the picture of the cottage – makes me want to move in, sit on the porch with a cool drink and good book and, of course, when it gets too cool and dark to be outside move indoors and do some quilting.

  6. I love Beach Cottage! In fact that will be the next quilt that I start. I bought two jelly rolls of Neptune by Tula Pink at the quilt shop this past weekend and found two coordinates on line. I might finish up a couple of UFOs before I start though!

  7. Definitely a hard choice with all the beauty to choose from…but Beach Cottage will be gorgeous. I finally got my hands on Kim’s book and of the 18 quilts, I wanna make at least 16!
(P.S. Love the label on the basket quilt’s bin!)

  8. I’ve been following your choice process and couldn’t agree more. I have already made 6 quilts out of Kim’s book including Beach Cottage. I’ll post pictures soon of mine, but just wanted to say – enjoy. It’s a super fast project.

  9. I made Beach Cottage last year for my mom’s Christmas present. It was pinks and greens — with touches of lilac. You’ll love it! 🙂
