Drumroll Please

We have a winner!  Cindy of Too Much Fabric, Too Little Time has without a doubt the messiest work space I have ever seen.  She has PILES of things.  What a colossal mess.  Her hands must have been shaking with fear as she took this picture, because it is a teensy bit blurry.

I had a very hard time deciding on who was the messiest, so I believe I will have to name a second place runner up.  That would be Jan of Miss Jan Quilts.

Send me your addresses girls and a little something will be coming your way in the mail!
Congratulations?

  1. OMG, I can’t believe I won something for being so messy. I hope it’s a gift certificate for a home organizer because that is what I need. LOL. Thank you Nicole.

  2. Cindy and Jan do indeed have messy tables, by normal standards. That’s why I didn’t show you mine. Nobody else would have stood a chance. Also I couldn’t get close enough to it to take a picture because the floor was even worse.
But now I have everything semi-organized and cleaned up. So I’m afraid to enter the room now for fear of messing it up again. I might never sew again. Congrats to Cindy and Jan on the “honors”.

  4. YIKES… I can see the competition was stiff. I don’t know whether to congratulate or to console.. but I should get to picking up my table.

  5. Hey — seeing this lets me know I’m something of a piker. YEAH!!!! (ok, so my sewing area is “cleaner” because I’m working on something. But, well, I bet I win in messiest rest of the house :0).

  6. What a great idea to reward the messiest! There is a lot of creative (aka looks like a mess but it is really creativity in action) energy going on out there.

  7. I think I would win, but was too embarassed to let you all see that! Messy is the sign of a creative mind! At least that is what my DH says…

  8. That was a pretty funny little cometition you had going! Congrats to your winners! I had to laugh at your comments about Nashville growing on you. My child left here liking rock/rap music and after two years he’s a big country music fan — who woulda thunk it???

  9. I knew Cindy would win; she has been telling me for years it was like that. And Jan’s isn’t too shabby. I don’t see how they ever get anything done, frankly, but congratulations to the two of them. They certainly deserve something, that’s for sure, lol.

  10. I didn’t send you a photo but you’ll be glad to know your contest made me go clear off my cutting table – it’s such a joy to use when it’s not piled high with leftover fabric, books, etc.

  11. Can’t believe I’m a winner (well, yes, I can). Things are a bit tidier now as I’m doing a general studio clean-up. I had to get a shot of it at its worst, though. =)
