All of Cupcake

Several of my blogging friends have told me that "Drumbeat" has been published in the past couple of weeks, so I no longer am reserved about not showing my "Cupcake" version of the new Miss Rosie’s Quilt Company pattern.

The piecing was quite simple–just quarter square triangles and nine patches.  I had the most fun playing with the fabrics with this quilt.  Lots and lots of fabrics!  I heard from Lisa today, where she is having a thrilling time at her quilt retreat, and she says she is laying out the rows of her version of this pattern today.  Can’t wait to see what yours looks like my friend!

  1. Turned out great. Can’t wait to make this one. I wonder who is going to be selling the Ms. Rosie patterns first.

  2. Such a lovely quilt!! Looks old-fashioned and oh so beautiful. Great fabric choices. I have made a quilt similarly with nine-patches and quarter-square triangles, and it went away with my son to college. Great work!

  4. I love your quilt, Nicole! It turned out fabulous with the dark, rich browns! I can’t wait to show my picture, too. I’m almost finished – maybe today!?
