Weekend Project

I spent Saturday playing around with some pretty fabrics by Joel Dewberry (Westminster).  The fun part of these blocks is that the seams do not match up on purpose.  The strips are cut 2 3/4" and 2 1/2", sewn into strip sets, then cut out with the use of a 6 inch square ruler.

I’d like your opinions on the use of the striped fabric.  Does it make you dizzy, or is it kicky and fun?   I plan to add a containment border, and then a wider border that is super calming.  Look at this border fabric, isn’t it gorgeous?
